22nd August £14 Suitable for age 14 plus No spoilers but.. Did you know that there are over 22 million miles of railroad tracks across the globe? We have raided archives and novels to give you a rich story telling experience. To celebrate 200 years of rail transport; join us at Borth railway station on a story-telling evening with a twist. This is a bit of fun..nothing serious; just an evening of stories, all based on engines, train and local history, locomotive disasters and their fates. We talk about Thomas Savin the entrepreneur who dreamt of building a chain of luxurious hotels along the Cambrian coast creating a pearl necklace of places to visit on the train. He needed the train network to achieve his ambition; how did he persuade local business men to part with their money and run a railway track over a peat bog? All aboard! let's punch your ticket for an evening's entertainment for an immersive story event and stay dry! Keep an open mind; experience sounds, sights and the murderously macabre stories. Aberdabbadoo's walks are an intimate and sociable experience as well as being mindful and…eco friendly- all aberdabbadoo’s walks are sustainable and mindful of our environment. Visitors enjoy the quirky stories and fascinating facts, hear vignettes of local folk and get an understanding of the immense damage a behemoth of a steam engine can do when it is in trouble. Borth Railway museum will be open prior to the event for you to peruse. The event will last 1.45mins. 10 spaces available. Enquiries: alisonpierse@gmail.com Booking www.aberdabbadoo.rezgo.com
