By the third lockdown Spencer was missing going out dancing at indie clubs. He wanted to write an album to replace that feeling of being out all-night to jangly melodic pop. The influences on his new album are the kind you’d see on any indie night poster including Teenage Fanclub, Belle and Sebastian, REM, & Violent Femmes.
